At the forefront, Simon Ayrton is an “outstanding trademark litigator”. He frequently collaborates with Alex Borthwick, leveraging their combined expertise to address intricate legal issues. Recently, they have been providing counsel to Ocado regarding potential trademark infringement and passing-off claims against a supplier of similarly branded fruit and vegetable products. Additionally, they have been engaged by Prada to advise the luxury fashion house on the management of their trademark opposition proceedings before the UKIPO. Tom Oliver has also been maintaining a busy docket this year. He is currently representing Sculpd in IPEC proceedings against Pott’d, a rival in the homemade pottery and craft industry, pursuing a substantial claim for damages.
