Last night, one of PG’s founding partners, Dr Penny Gilbert, was honoured to receive the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Women in Business Law Awards EMEA 2025 at The Waldorf Hilton!
The award recognises exceptional accomplishments by women in the legal community who set new standards for the industry.
It was awarded to Penny in recognition of her achievements at the forefront of UK and international patent litigation – particularly in the life sciences sector. Penny was the first woman to be appointed President of the European Patent Lawyers Association (EPLAW), and having co-founded Powell Gilbert in 2007 has helped lead the firm as it’s grown into a European patent litigation powerhouse.
