Sam has experience in a range of contentious intellectual property matters including complex multi-jurisdictional patent litigation, copyright and licence disputes. His experience encompasses diverse technological fields including medical technology, consumer electronics and pharmaceuticals.

He has been involved in cases before the Patents Court, the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court and the Unified Patent Court.

Sam joined Powell Gilbert in 2020 and became an Associate in 2025.
