Ellis is a qualified UK and European patent attorney and holds an IP litigation certificate. She has handled patent and design portfolios across multiple jurisdictions, advising clients on IP development, due diligence, and freedom-to-operate matters. She has acted before the European Patent Office (EPO) in both examination and opposition proceedings. She is also a Unified Patent Court (UPC) representative, and has assisted clients in proceedings before the UPC and the UK courts.

Ellis has experience in handling cases across a wide range of technologies, with particular experience in physics and engineering sectors such as HVAC, aeronautics, fire and security systems, and mass spectrometry.
