Daniel has worked across a broad scope of UK and cross-border contentious, non-contentious and advisory IP matters, assisting clients in a wide range of industry sectors including life sciences, software, maritime, sports, aviation and gaming.

He has particular expertise in patent litigation and has been involved in cases before various tribunals including the Patents Court, the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, the Court of Appeal, the UK Intellectual Property Office, the European Patent Office and the Unified Patent Court, as well as in co-ordinating and conducting multi-jurisdictional litigation.

In the life sciences sector his work has involved pharmaceutical formulations, medical devices, vaccines, antibodies, DNA sequencing, veterinary products and agrochemicals.

Daniel also gained valuable experience whilst on secondment at an international group of luxury retailers.

Daniel joined Powell Gilbert in January 2021.
