Profile

Despite having experience in all areas of intellectual property law, Callum’s practice is focused primarily on patent litigation. As part of this practice, he has also developed extensive experience litigating damages inquiries, particularly those brought pursuant to cross-undertakings in damages given in respect of preliminary / interim injunctions in the life sciences sector.

His matters have covered a variety of industry sectors, ranging from pharmaceuticals and telecommunications to publishing and clothing design. Callum has been involved in proceedings before various tribunals including the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and UK Intellectual Property Office.

Callum holds rights of audience in all courts of England and Wales, having trained and qualified as a barrister at 8 New Square. He is therefore able to appear as an oral advocate and as a junior within barrister teams.

Callum joined Powell Gilbert in 2015.
