Ben has worked on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, and has particular expertise in litigation relating to patents, design rights and confidential information. He has experience of representing pharmaceutical, biotech and consumer electronics companies in the High Court and Court of Appeal. Ben has also advised clients on disputes in a range of other subject matters including telecommunications, manufactured goods and consumer goods. Ben also has considerable experience of working alongside teams in multi-jurisdictional proceedings, and assisting in trials and hearings in an array of European jurisdictions.
Ben has a strong technical background having obtained a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, and has spent time on secondment at a leading global pharmaceutical company.
