Andreas is an extremely experienced and highly regarded patent litigator, with over 15 years’ experience working on complex, multijurisdictional disputes.
He has particular expertise in leading disputes relating to standard essential patents (SEPs), including devising and implementing FRAND strategies. He has handled leading cases before the German courts and has rapidly established a reputation as a leading UPC litigator, including acting in the first FRAND proceedings before the UPC.
Andreas has also significant patent litigation experience in relation to pharmaceuticals and biotechnology (including biosimilars), medical devices, flooring panels and other technologies.
Andreas regularly speaks at conferences about IP topics, including SEP/FRAND litigation.
